Manchester Health Academy

SALARY: UP TO £104,091

This is an incredible opportunity for an outstanding leader who aspires to lead a dynamic, expanding Academy. The successful candidate will bring a collegiate, engaging style of management and the drive to take the Academy’s journey to outstanding forward. The role will suit an inspirational Deputy Head or Headteacher who is ready for a new challenge.

Above all, we are looking for someone who is committed to the interests and future of our City's young people, and who can lead with a compelling vision and continue the Academy's success.

The incoming Principal will lead the strategic development of the Academy as it grows, to deliver an Outstanding education for all its students.

This vacancy has arisen with the departure of the current Principal, Mr Damian Owen, who will take up a new role as Executive Principal of a Multi Academy Trust.

Mr Owen leaves an Academy that is successful and growing. A £10million investment in the Academy’s estate is well under way and will provide facilities to accommodate 1100 students by 2022

Expanding the Academy

A £10m expansion programme is well on the way to completion as the Academy continues to grow, providing state-of-the-art English and Mathematics facilities, enhancements to the student dining area and better community sports facilities.
